Roy Williams Tie Tracker: UNC-Asheville
One thing all UNC fans have come to know, love and expect of Roy Williams is his fashionable selection of ties, most often courtesy of Chapel Hill outfitter Alexander Julian. The same man who put the argyle on the side of the basketball uniform is still turning heads with what he’s putting around Ol’ Roy’s neck. So, here at The Rafters we decided to pay homage to the best accesory in college hoops, if not the entire sporting world, and document every tie Roy Williams wears this season.
What a treat last night. The Boys were back to their winning ways and Roy trotted out a new tie.
I must say I like the tie. Sort of a light purple gradient with some pink accent squares. It’s sort of what I would imagine a tie to look like if Adobe created a Photoshop line of men’s accessories.
We can’t forget the pocket square either, in a lovely Carolina blue last night. Also, missing the Power Balance bracelet from what I can tell. Wanda must not have liked it.
